Promotional Photos
As most of you know, photography is a hobbie of mine, but not my main source of income.
My day job is for Dowell Windows in Belmont. It's a Boral company that deals with the selling and manufacturing of aluminum windows and doors. My job is to deal with supervisors and book in their frame, sash and screen delivery. As well as some work with the accounts department:)
Anyway, we have a new product coming out (some security screens) and guess who needed to have some photos to have in the flyers to give out to builders?
We tried to just get photos of the screens displayed in our front foyer, but it was hard to make it look like they were in a real home, so instead we organized with Scott Park Homes to borrow one of their display homes. They have a 6 stacker alfresco at the Piara Waters display, so we had a security screen made to suit.
Thursday mid-morning we went to site to remove the existing flyscreens, install the security screens, take a few (61) photos, then switch the screens over again.
The screens I must admit looked great and the managers were very pleased with the photos. The chosen few favorites will be getting printed next week to be sent to our major builders.
Am I excited to have my work in actual print?!?!?! You have no idea!!!!!!
